Tanahun, Nepal: A truck driver was killed and a co-driver injured in a truck accident at Ghansikuwa, Byas Municipality–12, along the Prithvi Highway in Tanahun district.
The truck, bearing registration number Lu 2 Kha 154, was carrying cement from Dumre to Damauli when it veered off the road and plunged approximately 20 metres down.
The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Sanjib Magar, a resident of Siddhalek Rural Municipality–6, Dhading district.
The truck’s co-driver, 22-year-old Pradeep BK, sustained injuries in the accident.
